Windows 10: Turbo Tax will not run on Windows 10

Turbo Tax installs correctly, but when trying to run it gives an error message that it cannot find the file. The path name is correct and the executable is there. Turbo Tax cannot solve this. I installed it on my laptop with window 7 and it runs. Does it have something to do with permissions?

Problem with turbo tax

I am trying to run Turbo Tax 2018 but it keeps crashing when saving the file. Spent an hour on the phone with Turbo Tax and they have suggested that this could be a Windows problem. Any thoughts?

Method 1:

Method 2:

If the issue persists, you may have to uninstall and re-install the
turbo tax 2015. Check if it helps.

To uninstall the software follow these steps:

  turbo tax 2015 and click on Uninstall.
  

Note: Make sure you have the installation media for

Problem with Turbo Tax???

I'm running Windows 10 on Surface 3 and Turbo Tax 2015. The amount of tax deducted and input are not reflected in the total tax paid line 437. Is this Turbo Tax or Surface problem or both, does anyone know?
