Windows 10: Turn off auto sign-in & lock at startup

I can't recall what the proper name for this feature is or how to enable/disable it.When I turn off or reboot a Windows 10 or11 computer, upon turning it back on it will automatically log in the last user that logged on to the computer, and then lock the computer, so that you need to log in, but the computer will load anything in the startup items for that user as well as get started on autocratic updates for both Windows and any antivirus or other apps that feel the need to update at login.Unfortunately, I have a couple with a low-end laptop running Windows 11 Home that are sharing it and it

I suggest you to follow the step below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key.
• Click on setting.
• Select Personalization.
• Click on lock screen.
• Turn on “Show lock screen background picture on the sign in screen”.

Really needed to list more system specs and information on this issue.So this is assuming you have this and this is the issue.

Why does my screen not rotate?


The auto rotation lock feature is turned on by default in Windows 10. Use the following steps to turn off this feature.

1. Place the tablet into Pad/Tablet mode.
2. Click the Start
   
   menu and select Settings.
3. Click System.
4. Click Display.
5. Scroll down and toggle Lock rotation of this display to OFF.
