Windows 10: Turn off Efficiency Mode

Hello,My browsers are unable to display web pages due to efficiency mode running on both Edge and Chrome. It takes me back to the 56k modem days of trying to display browsers. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE tell us how to permanently turn this off as this affects web browsing on my machine that I need to do for work.Or, can you tell me which update to back out of so I can browse internet sites like I used to.Thanks

Turn off Efficiency mode in chrome permanently!

hey I'm using chrome! Efficiency modes turn on automatically even after I turn it off by going to task manager! Efficiency mode is making my chrome slower and I wants more performance!! Please give a permanent solution to turn it off for chrome.

Efficiency mode is making every browser run slow. I cant do multiple things while using any browser without it running slow. Cant turn it off with task manager or in any of the browser settings. Why can i not turn off efficiency mode on MY COMPUTER?

 

How to disable efficiency mode in task manager? Windows efficiency mode is making apps like Google Chrome unusable.

Thanks for the response.

I tried what you suggested and disabled both settings, relaunched, and turned off efficiency mode for each sub-process it was active for.

Within 2 minutes, efficiency mode was re-activated, so your solution didn't seem to work.

I am on a desktop so I don't think the battery one would have any effect.
