Windows 10: Turn off screen only from power button without going to Modern Standby mode in windows 11...

About 2 months ago, I made some changes to my Windows to be able to go back with S3 power mode, and it is succussed. I can turn off screen from the power button, let the laptop running. Due to some errors in my laptop when enabling S3 power mode, such as freezing after 5 minutes, the laptop does not wake from sleep I have to make a hard rese

How do I re-enable my modern standby sleep mode (S0)?

2. Navigate to the Power Settings:
   
   • In the Registry Editor, navigate to the following path:
     
     
3. Modify the Registry Key:
   
   • Look for the PlatformAoAcOverride key.
     
   • If it exists, right-click on it and select Delete.
     
   • If it does not exist, you can skip this step.
     
4. Enable Modern Standby:
   
   • Open an elevated Command Prompt (right-click on Command Prompt and select "Run as administrator").
     
   • Enter the following command to delete the registry entry that disables Modern Standby:
     
     
5. Restart Your Computer:

Verify Modern Standby (S0) is Enabled

Is it different windows11 modern standby in AC mode and battery mode?

i'm using surface go3 model, and i found this device support modern standby mode(using powercfg /a)

But, I think modern standby mode works only AC mode because when I using MS clock app to setting alarms and go sleep mode, It only works in AC mode, not battery mode.

I read that UWP apps only works in modern standby mode, and I change my MS clock apps "always working on background".

I also changed modern standby connections while AC mode and Battery mode. It means I changed connected standby whenever AC mode and battery mode.

But, MS's clock apps not wake up for alarm from sleep mode when I using battery mode. It only wake up from sleep mode when using AC mode.

So, I think Surface's modern standby settings are different between AC mode and Battery mode. How can I change Battery mode's modern standby works like AC mode's modern standby?

I want alarm works from sleep mode whenever AC mode or Battery mode.

Laptop enters Modern Standby when screen turns off

I recently received my new Windows 11 laptop. I set the system to never go to sleep in the settings and in the power plan. However, when the screen turns off after screen time-out it also goes into Modern Standby. This causes my laptop fans to stop running causing the system to get hot occasionally when I'm still running programs.

I checked the Event Viewer, confirming my suspicions:

Event 506: The system is entering Modern Standby

Is there any way to prevent this? I checked several forums and did find people with similar issues but no real solution. I did try the Microsoft PowerToys Awake tool but the system still entered Modern Standby even with Awake enabled.
