Windows 10: Turn off Sync in Windows 10 mail

I got Windows 10 mail a few days ago. I need for it to not sync. I toggle the Sync slider to turn off Sync, and it turns itself back on. I need to know how to get the Sync slider to say at OFF when I set it to OFF. It turns itself back on.

With windows 10 Mail app I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• Go to Windows 10 Mail app.
• Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Settings.
  
  (If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Settings.)
• Tap or click Manage Accounts and then choose the account you want.
  
• Click on Change mailbox sync settings.
  
• Under Download new content select as item arrives.
  
• Under Sync Options turn off and on Sync.

• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
• Check if issue persists.

Step 3:

I suggest you to check if the services responsible for Windows update is running. Refer to these steps:

• Press Windows key +R, type “services.msc”
