Windows 10: "turn on mono audio" Doesn't work. Headphones only playing audio out of one ear.

I have brand new AKG K371 Headphones, with a single male TRS cable plugging into a single female input on a 'Republic of Gamers' laptop. I am using Windows 10. I went to the Audio tab under Ease of Access, to turn on the "turn on mono audio" option, hoping that the audio would play fine. It only comes out of one ear. Under Sounds > Playback > Enhancements I have tried both disabled all enhancements and not. Under Sounds > Playback > Advanced, all my options say 2 channels, even though I just have one headphone jack on my laptop?. I thought selecting "turn on mono audio" would

Audio doesn´t work aftter connecting headphones

Original Title: No audio

Sometimes when i want to use the headphones, i connect them to my computer and then the audio doesn´t work, so i need to restart my computer and the audio returns, so my question is, why this happen? i don´t want to restart my pc everytime that i need the
headphones.

I hope that someone can answer me

 

Headphones only outputting audio in mono

Hello,

I'd like to play Stereo audio when my headphones are plugged in to my 3.5mm audio port, but they are only outputting in Mono. Stereo works when using them through Bluetooth, but I often use them wired and would like them to play Stereo properly that way
as well.

System specifications:

Windows 10 64 bit home

3.5mm Audio jack

Realtek Audio

JBL live 650btnc-le headphones

My audio drivers are all up to date.

The "mono" audio option in Ease of Access is turned off.

Turning audio enhancements on or off in the properties menu doesn't solve the problem.

Restarting the computer doesn't solve the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

How to play mono audio ONLY when NOT plugged in headphone in windows 10?

My laptop's right speaker has broken, so I want to play mono audio when using internal speakers. In windows 10 there is an option to turn on mono audio in setting. But it makes my headphone, which is working fine, to play mono audio as well.
How do I turn on mono audio when using laptop's internal speakers and turn off (back to stereo) when headphone is plugged in (without changing the setting every time)?
