Windows 10: Turned PC off during reset process. PC won’t boot up. Is my PC dead?

I tried to reset my PC through the settings and it acted as if it was resetting but just a black screen so I turned my PC off, turned it backed on and it booted up. I reset the PC and it did it successfully but noticed it had Windows 10 Pro installed and I don’t have the product key for that so I went into regedit and changed the 4 files to ‘Home’ or ‘Windows 10 Home’ then inserted my Windows 10 Home USB and followed the install/reset steps. PC went into reset mode, again a black screen and after 6 hours I turned the PC off and turned it back on and now the PC won’t boot up at all. It turns on with the lights and fan but nothing boots. I know what I did was stupid but the black screen was discerning considering I’ve reset past PC’s and they all never went to just a black screen while resetting.

Is there anyway to fix my PC or is it time to purchase a new one?

(It was a long shot but I already tried resetting CMOS)

PC Won't Boot

I put the RAM down to 450MHz (OCZ PC2 7200) and inserted some extra generic 533MHz RAM to try and boost the PC to 3GB

The PC didn't boot, so I took out the generic ram and kept the OCZ in, and it still won't boot

Now the PC will not boot with any RAM in it at all. I've also tried with none, and it still won't boot

I can't reset the CMOS cos when I move the jumper to 2-3 the PC won't even power on...

What can I do to save my PC? *Frown

 

Bios flash = Dead PC

I am a noob, I hope someone can help me.

I just tried flashing a bios for my x800gt, now my pc is dead, says beeeep at startup then nothing - black screen and won`t boot from boot cd.

Have i killed it?

Which steps did you perform? Was this from a clean boot?
Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste this command: shutdown /r /o /f /t 00
It will boot to the recovery options or windows advanced troubleshooting menu.
Click troubleshooting and click reset this computer. You will be saving files. Applications and programs will be removed. Windows will be reinstalled.
Enter your windows logon password.
You will see getting things ready with rotating dots.
Click resetting this PC.
It will then display the HP logo with resetting this PC with rotating dots and a percentage.
