  1. Turning off computer and unable to turn screen back on

I have a Windows 10 Surface, and I am experiencing an ongoing issue with the power/screen. When I click the power button to put the computer to sleep but not shut down, I can usually turn it back on shortly. However, if I leave the screen off for too long, I can't turn it back on. Pressing the power button does nothing, but the computer is not shut down I can tell because the keyboard lights are still on. The only way to fix this is to hold the power button until the computer manually shuts down and restarts. This issue occurs every time the screen is off for too long.

I have my power setting all set to "never" for turning off on battery power/when plugged in, and yet the problem persists.

    :)
