Windows 10: Turning off icons when switching between IME input modes/languages

My work involves frequently switching between windows that use different input languages. I have a new computer running Windows 10, and every time I switch between input modes or switch between windows that are using different languages or modes, there is a big icon in the middle of the screen-- see below. This is incredibly distracting and I haven't dealt with it using other Windows 10 systems. How do I disable it?

IME floating icon for Traditional Quick Chinese input

Dear Microsoft,

As I had researched on internet and the community which no one could solve this problem. First, the IME icon is a little floating icon showing "中" or "英" as a reminder to user which mode one is using in the chinese input method. However they have a problem
that once I switch to another window while the floating icon is appearing and the switch is done before is disappear, it will keep lasting on the screen. which is definitely a bug. Another question is why for other Chinese input method e.g. pinyin can reserve
option to turn the IME icon off however that isn't appearing on quick or cangjie input? please add the option to turn it off asap.

 

Remove input method icon with language initials in notification area

Found your post yesterday and didn't know the answer. Today I decided I wanted to turn it off too. I turned it off in the notification settings, but after a reboot I saw it had returned. So after that I followed these steps: “Input Indicator” Icon Comes Back in Taskbar Notification Area After Restarting Windows. Hopefully this helps!

 

Language input is Not Functioning

I recently installed the Window 10 on my PC, which is using Window 7 previously.

I am now facing some problems regarding the language input:

• At first, I had some hard time finding my way through the settings of input language.
• The Google Chinese Pinyin input that I use during the Window 7 seems to block the current input, fine, so I un-installed it.
• After that I can type Chinese words, but it is not functioning well like those Chinese IME input in the previous Window versions.
  • The switch between input languages is so slow almost as if it is not working.
  • And a moment later, it stopped working, again. I can't type anything other than English characters, no matter how many times I click on the IME input.
• And in these 2 days, the language icon is totally gone !

It is very inconvenience as I need to use the Chinese input most of the time.
