Windows 10: Turning off S mode unavailable in microsoft store

Hello All,I have recentelly purchased laptop with Windows 10 Home S installed on it.Ever since I've been trying to turn the S mode off. The issue is that whenever I try to access this feature in microsoft store it says "Try again later. There was an issue on our side. Please wait a moment." With that said the same error prevails for almost two weeks now. I have tried to reset the store, delete caches, update store, reinstall the system side quesiton how is it possible that clean install leads to maintaining S mode?Would be grateful if somebody would provide me some solution to this problem b

Restore Microsoft Store application in Windows 10

After multiple attempts, I managed to get Store open by enabling Developer mode (as suggested by one of the posters here) and running the command "Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}" in Powershell. Not sure if is exactly the solution since I've tried different steps suggested by different users in different forums (including uninstalling Store separately) but hey, I am not complaining!

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

 

Tablet Mode doesn't automatically turn on

Hi Roice,

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.
