Windows 10: Turning on the hotspot disables the internet on Desktop

I have an internet connection on desktop and everything works fine until I connect my phone through Hotspot. For some reason accessing the internet through phone disables it on my PC. Everything was working fine until the recent update.

How to Disable mobile hotspot SSID

To better assist you, please follow the steps on how to turn off mobile hotspot on your Windows 10 device:

• Open Settings, click Network & Internet icon
• Click / tap on Mobile Hotspot on the left side, and turn off Share your Internet connection with other devices.
  
• Any devices currently connected to your mobile hotspot will lose connection.

No internet using Windows 10 Hotspot feature

Hello,
I’m experiencing an issue with the mobile Hotspot feature on Windows 10 (latest version 2H20).
I want to share my Ethernet or cellular connection (modem within my Elitebook) via wireless to smartphone and else.
When I turn on the hotspot, I’m able to connect my devices to it without issues, the IP lease is valid and obtained correctly. On the network panel it’s showed internet connectivity on the Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual adapter, but unfortunately no internet connection on any connected device.
I tried to reinstall all the device adapters with no luck, disabled firewall and AVG but still no luck. The issue seems to be present since 10 days and before I remember to be able to use the hotspot without issues.
Any suggestion or advices?
