Hello,I recently re-did my gaming setup as a Christmas present to myself I added a 5th display to the setup I know that's crazy that is a TV mounted above my desk. Sadly my GPU ports are full and the only option I have is to plug in the TV to my motherboard via an HDMI -> USB A adapter as my motherboard has no HDMI/display ports on it.... but that has been causing lots of issues. For some strange reason when the TV is plugged in my USB microphone HyperX Quadcast S will lose and gain power rapidly and windows will recognize it as un-plugging and plugging itself back in multiple times a se

  2. USB C to HDMI Adapter not working

Got a Lenovo Yoga 920 earlier this week. Plugged my USB C to HDMI adapter in and it worked for a few minutes and than stopped working.

It is now identifying as a USB 2.0 Billboard Device which I belive means it isn’t configuring Displayport Alternative Mode properly.

    Here’s what I’ve tried:

Hitting Windows – P to change project mode.

Going into display settings and detect display.

Checking for Updating graphics driver, USB drivers, check for updates.

Using a different USB C to HDMI adapter, a different TV, and a different cable.

Booting to safe mode with no services running.

Any thoughts for re-configuring the driver?

  3. Device Type is Incorrect (On USB to HDMI Adapter)

I recently bought a USB to HDMI adapter due to my laptop lacking HDMI ports, it was fairly cheap so this may contribute, but when I plug it in, windows detects it as a USB Video Device or webcam.

There's nothing on the monitor either.

Is there any way to change the type of device or fix this?

I've tried troubleshooting, but everything comes up clear.
