Windows 10: TV sound stopped working

    TV sound stopped working


    I was watching youtube on my TV and randomly my sound stopped working. I checked my audio settings but nothing changed. I troubleshooted my audio but that didn't work so i had to switch over to my headset and sit at my desk which is not as comfortable. Can someone please help me get my sound back on my TV? All of my volume is at normal from both my PC and TV.

    Cast to TV stopped working

    Can't see any DLNA settings in the TV. I checked the list of devices and removed everything to start fresh in case it had gotten itself in the deny list but that still doesn't work.

    Just checked the updates and it hasn't had an update since August which was way before it stopped working. As far as I'm concerned I haven't changed anything on either device, just stopped working.

    Weird.

    Please excuse the caps.

    i have taken every step that has been suggested. in addition i set the computer up on Samsung TV i have it the sound works find with HDMI cable, it is only with this Westinghouse unit that it will not see the HDMI for the sound. i watch the YouTube
    video, the issue is the driver is not installing in windows 10 from the signal it is getting from the Westinghouse hardware.

    Why exactly is ATi considered be better at HDMI?

    Sound works fine only issue with me is underscan when connecting to my tv.
