Conversations splitting msgs into 2 SMS's

Running Symbian Anna on Nokia C7-00. Conversations is doing a weird thing where it will inconsistently breakup outgoing messages into multiple SMSes. This happens long before 140 or 160 characters is hit.

For example, I just sent this message to Twitter (forgive the lack of context):

"@mister_aok i have the same vague memory but haven't been able to conjure it from the net yet!"



But Twitter received (and tweeted!) the following 2 messages:

1. "@mister_aok i have the same vague memory but haven't been able to c"

2. "onjure it from the net yet!"




Obviously, this is undesirable behavior - not only because it uses up my SMSes but because it is confusing for the recipient.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any advice?

But I wanna know the Email Address and Twitter just offer me 140 characters so that I can't tell them my case clearly.

My Speaking is very poor.

 

I don't really use twitter or find it that helpful anyways.

 

I never tweet, however one of the first things I open when I fire my PC up is tweet deck, if you are following the right people it's the best news service in the world.

I think the current limit is enough though.

 

I do the same thing, only with youtube instead of twitter to get my news.*Smile

 

It's a business decision. If they can expand the business without damaging the brand they will probably try it but I think there is a big risk. Expanding the character string parts with the principle concept of Twitter. They should open a separate but parallel portal and call it "Twitter Talk"
