Windows 10: Twitter notifications on windows is not redirecting me to the actual tweet when I click...

As said from the title. When I have notifications on for someone on twitter, and they tweet, I get a notification from windows pop up, however, when I click it, it doesnt bring me to the tweet in my google chrome tab. It just closes the notification no matter where I click on the noti. Usually it would open up a new tab and bring me to the tweet that was on the notification. Now it just closes the notification. Any fix?Yes I have notis on for both browser and system settings. Yes I have created a new local user although I shouldnt have to in order for it to workI have allowed google chrome t

No worries, Russ. To get Twitter notifications on your device, we recommend that you follow these steps:

• Uninstall your Twitter application.
• Open your Twitter from a computer and go to your settings.
• Choose apps and remove access from Twitter for your Windows Phone.
• Reinstall Twitter on your phone and grant it permission to connect to your account.

You should receive Twitter notifications after a day or two.

Tweet ,retweet or quote a tweet in windows 10 twitter app

I cant seem to tweet ,retweet or quote a tweet in windows 10 twitter app any ideas? I already reinstalled and tried fixing apps.

 

Twitter app multiple notifications

As made what you might call progress.

• I went in to the app and disabled all notifications.
• I went in to the action centre and turned off notifications there.
• I then did a soft reset (hold the volume down button as well as the power button)
• I then re-installed Twitter.

This seemed to resolve the issue for a short while... but now I don't get all notifications. I'll get the odd notification if someone tweets or someone tweets to me, but when I check my feed, there is a lot of stuff I should have been notified about that
i wasn't.

I tried doing the above again but no joy, I now get next to no notifications.
