Windows 10: Two ASUS Computers upgraded to Win 10 One just not working well.

I have two ASUS Computers one had Win 7 the other Win 8.1 the 8.1 computer always had problems and still does with Win 10..

The ASUS G73SW it has a ATI Graphic card and had Win 8.1 was upgraded downloaded online to Win 10. installed and just like when it was 8.1 some programs won't work example ROXIE Video Pro tells me i must adjust the screen resolution and when changed still won't work. Same program worked fine on the other computer after the upgrade.
I ran the ROXIE repair program and it solved nothing.
Also this computer can't find the SONY Video Camcorder, the files can be seen in Win Explore but the movie file in not there because in has not downloaded as there is no connection to a SONY program. Tried the SONY installer dick that was used on other computer when it was Win 7 but it does not copy files.

@@@@@ UPDATE 08/17/2015 I went to Sonys Web site and downloaded the needed software program to connect the Sony Video Camcorder they only showed a file supporting Win 8.1 64, but thought it was worth downloading and installing and giving it a try.
@@@@It installed and now i can connect my Sony Video Camcorder and transfer movie files to my Win10 computer.

This computer does work some what and Internet and Wif work, but as far as being useful 100% it's still not making the grade.
I am blaming it on the ATI Graphic card and there is no upgrade found at ASUS support for it.

The other ASUS G73SW has a NVIDIA Graphic card it was upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 downloaded online, all installed programs worked as before, and it finds digital camera and SONY camcorder, and SONY download from camera to computer program works.
Everything on this computer seems to work well,i did have to upgrade the ACROBAT Reader but that has been the only item needed after the upgrade. Internet and Wif work well.

Anyone else find anything like this on their upgraded systems?

Win 10 update ruins Power Director 12

Thanks for the prompt response. What I have found is that on the iteration of Win 10 prior to this last upgrade, Power Director 12 worked well on two machines: the older one is an Asus Aspire 5551. Then I upgraded to a Lenovo Thinkpad.

Both have been moved to Win 10 for over three months now, and there was not a problem until this week, when the Lenovo upgraded automatically after which Power Director failed.

I moved the program from the Lenovo back to the non-upgraded Asus and all went well until the auto-upgrage kicked in on this machine this morning and now both machines have shown the same problem.

I would like to roll back the ugrade to get to the Win 10 I was using last week!

Is it possible to do this?

 

Window 10 unable to connect 2 ASUS gamepads

Hi

I have a small problem with Bluetooth gamepads

I’ve just upgraded my Dell Precision M6800 to win 10.

After upgrade I’ve lost ability to connect and use 2 controllers simultaneously.

Controllers are Asus gamepads Asus TV500BG. They have their own win 10 driver but as soon as you connect them (after pairing) to computer pop up appears saying xbox360 controller has been set up successfully.

Pairing two controlers is possible and each one works if only one is used.

Connecting 2 controllers is possible but few seconds after connecting second controller the first one disconnects and switches off.

I've installed latest bluetooth drivers from intel - Version 20.10

Windows 10 pro version 1709

I've tried following:

Removing and reinstalling Asus supplied drivers and re pairing and re connecting controllers

Trying not to use Asus drivers and letting windows install its own drivers

in win 7 they worked fine even though officially were not supported.

Any help with resolving this problem is very much appreciated.

 

Looks like i am the only one facing these problems.

 

You could try the 7/8 drivers in compatability mode
