Two different vesions of Photos? Maybe ClipChamp?

I'm trying to import photos from my iPhone to Windows 11. Sometimes, I get an import screen that organizes the photos by month, and has an option to "import" the photos. Other times, I get an import screen that doesn't organize the photos at all, and has a "move/copy" option, but no way to specify "move" vs. "copy". I think the difference is Photos vs. ClipChamp, but I have no idea why I sometimes end up with one and sometimes the other. If that's what's happening, how do I control which app I get when I try to launch Photos? What about when I connect a device and choose "import photos"?

    :)

    I can't create a Clipchamp desktop shortcut.

    Hi ls1058

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Find ClipChamp in the list of all apps on your Start Menu, then just drag its icon onto your Desktop, that will create a new Desktop shortcut for ClipChamp on your Desktop

    I can't create a Clipchamp desktop shortcut.

    Hi ls1058

On your Start Menu, did you click the 'All Apps' button and then scroll down the list of installed apps to find ClipChamp in the 'C' section and drag that icon onto your Desktop.
