    Two Finger Scroll option is not visible under Touch -> Gestures section of Setting.


    After my latest Windows update from Win11 to Win11 Pro, my touchpad features like two finger scroll and pinch to zoom has stopped working. Synaptics Driver external - application with red colour logo no more works as well. While trouble-shooting based on online suggestions, I found that I do not have the option of Two Finger Scroll and pinch to Zoom under Gestures. Please suggest if there is a bug. I have already tried uninstalling the driver and restarting laptop.I am using HP SPECTRE 360.

    Click Start > Settings > Devices > Touchpad

    Scroll down, does it list Four-Finger gestures as an options that available with your touchpad?

    Synaptics touchpad V1.2 - no option for one-finger scrolling?


    That only works if the touch pad has a dedicated scroll area down the side. As far as I know, new ones now don't, as they support gestures. The old ones didn't support gestures or any kind of two finger support. You'd have to install a really old driver, and I doubt even then that it would work.

    I have updated my ASUS laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. I am now no longer able to two finger scroll or use any of the smart gestures I used to be able to use in Windows 8.1. I have gone to the touchpad settings and scrolling is not an option listed.
    I am also unable to open the ASUS smart gestures program anymore. Any idea how to add this setting back with Windows 10?
