    Hello,


    I have MSI GS65 laptop. When I am using external monitor via HDMI and wireless keyboard and mouse MS 3050 connected via USB transceiver at the same time, the monitors won't turn off after set time. The monitors go black for couple of seconds and then turn on again. Naturally no hibernation is possible too since monitors have to be turned off first.


    If I use either external monitor or USB transceiver there is no problem, monitor turn off after set time and computer hibernate after that - the problem seems to happen when both devices are connected.


    The external monitor is DELL U2415. I have latest Win 10 update 2004.

    Hello, I hope you are all doing well.

    I recently lost my transceiver USB for the 3050 Wireless Desktop ( accidentally broken ) and I would like to now where I can buy a replacement. The problem is that I live in Karachi, Pakistan, and can not find an outlet here that has a replacement.

    I also called the customer care here in Karachi, but they do not do hardware replacement.

    Who else can I contact for the replacement?

    Also, cannot find the relevant category. Apologies for the misnomer.

    I purchased the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3050 in February 2019. The USB transceiver physically broke and is not longer usable. How to I purchase a replacement transceiver?

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    We understand your concern. However, it is not possible as each wireless dongle and mouse/keyboard set are matched to the radio frequency that they have been configured to use, this is set at the manufacturing plant. No two wireless sets have the same
    frequency to avoid Crossover when two sets are being used in close proximity. We would suggest you to buy a new wireless set complete with matching transceiver.
