Windows 10: Two of the same email in my computer

Around a year ago, someone hacked my account and made it so that the microsoft account i made never existed. So I made a new microsoft account with the same email and now my computer has 2 of the same email registered inside. If I try to delete the duplicate it just comes back by itself. This is a big issue as now I can't even access the microsoft related services microsoft store, xbox etc, it just says i need internet to log in when my internet is working fine. any help is greatly appreciated

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

As per the issue description you have two email id's and you want to change your secondary email to primary on your pc.



I would suggest you to switch the login account to Local user account. Then switch back to Microsoft account which you want to use. You may follow the steps provided below:



Step 1: Switch to local user account

Follow these steps to create a “Local User account”.

• Press “Windows key +W”.
• Type “users” without quotes in the search box.
• Then select “Users” from the left panel.
• You will get an option “Switch to a Local account” right below your user account name.
• Select “Switch to a local account” option.
• Enter the required details.
• Then login to the local account and check how it works.

Step 2: Switch back to Microsoft account

Follow these steps to create a “Microsoft account”.

• Press “Windows key +W”.
• Type “users” without quotes in the search box.
• Then select “Users” from the left panel.
• Select “Switch to Microsoft account” right below your user account name.
• Enter the required details (Primary Email ID).
• Restart the computer and then try to login using new Primary account.

can't add any email account

I want to get the email addresses listing on my computer and transfer/sync to my Galaxy 7 phone.

Please give me a step by step procedure to do this. I use Windows 10, Edge, Outlook and MSN on the computer.

The phone currently has Google with gmail and is synced with the Computer now. Is their an app that I should look for to help move the list from my computer to my phone?
