Windows 10: Two OS - and One Red Bar

I had to recover Win 7 in order to install W10.
It should be in a separate drive and named Windows.old, but it looks like an active - but deadly - situation.

When I log in, I have to choose an OS.
I want nothing to do with Win7, even though I wish I could.

How do I eliminate the choice and the scary red bar?

In theory, installing the same license on more than one drive, even on the same computer is not allowed. In practice I have seen it working. Just no guarantee it will continue to work. Switching between one HD drive and the other can confuse the activation
system. Yes, I suspect you will be happiest with Win10 on the SSD. Using the instructions it should be easy to setup a VM that you can run Vista inside of.

Sorry I've not replied quicker as I'm working pretty hard at the moment and between working and trying to get some sleep I've not had much chance to try my new computer

Anyway, although the virtual machine idea sounds good, I'd be a little apprehensive trying that first I think as although I'm ok with pretty basic stuff, I might have to have more time to try this this out.

I think I'd be happier first off trying to put windows 10 on the SSD and then setting it up in compatibility mode and see if FS9 works that way.

Although I'd rather work with Vista as I've got used to moving files and changing the UAC on it, I've herd people have managed to get FS9 to work on W10 with a bit of fettling here and there, so I guess I'd be willing to give it a go.

My question here would then be, Can I put two W10 OS on two different drives in the same computer? I have a Windows 10 disc supplied by the computer builder (PCSpecialist) which says it's licensed to be used with this computer. Is it ok to use this disc
to put W10 on my second SSD, or do I need to download another version?

I've come straight from Vista to Windows 10 without ever seeing W7 or 8, so I don't think I could upgrade??

Sorry if I sound a complete idiot, but I spent a lot of time building up my simulator with a lot of custom add on's, and really don't want to have to scrap everything and move on to FSX (which is apparently supported by W10)

Please be sure to widen all the columns so that all the information can be read in them.

 

I had two OS in the same small space, so I reinstalled Win10 several more times.
Fixed that.
(Everything is new and wondrous and extremely challenging. But these things basically heal themselves. How smart is that?)

"The scary red bar" means that disk/partition is dangerously close to full capacity, only way to remedy is to delete some stuff from it.
