Windows 10: Two problems: On August 6, 2024 I received an email from Microsoft saying that I requested...

I received an email from Microsoft on August 6, 2024 give me a 6 digit code because I requested a single use code. I never requested this, I don't even know what it is for. Someone is trying to get into my account. I tried looking in account.live.com/activity to see who is attempting to log into my account and that doesn't work. Microsoft never sends me the code to my email address that is on file with Microsoft. Without the code I cannot log into account.live.com/activity. I cannot check anything out.None of the below Products pertain to my problem so I selected Windows.

2. Is your Windows 10 associated with this email account?
   

I would suggest you to login to
http://login.live.com/ with the email account that is deleted to check if you are able to login and if the account is still active under Microsoft.

If you are able to login with your account and you wish to close the Microsoft account, you can follow the steps in this article on ‘How
to close your Microsoft account’ and see if it helps.

Microsoft Account Invitation Email Not Received so Account Still Pending.

Can you share few information regarding the issue?

Does both the members log in using their emails?

Are you referring to the invitation to join in Family Safety?

Are you trying to invite the users in family safety, if yes then you need to remove the users who are not receiving the invitation and then re-create the users in the family safety online page.

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/family#/

• 
  Check the user which says invitation has been sent.
  
• 
  Click on remove link.
  
• 
  Select the user with the invitation has been sent message.
  
• 
  Click the add link where you enter the users email address.
  

I suggest you to follow this steps if you are talking about email invitation about family safety.
