  1. Two processes hogging up disk

I find it very annoying that Radeon Settings: Host Application and Microsoft Office Click-to-run is hogging up my disk every time I start up a game.

I just want to confirm if it is safe to uninstall Radeon Settings because my laptop has dual graphics feature and I fear that when I uninstall radeon settings, the onboard gpu is only going to be used. This process also hogs up disk after I exit any game that I play.

    :)

  2. Windows performance is extremely slow, disk usage shoots to 100% most of the time

What process is hogging the disk I/O ?

Radeon Settings should not be stopped because you are most probably gaming using that GPU. Microsoft Office Click-to-run you can safely stop. Check other items in startup.

  5. I have really no other things in my startup besides the important processes that should be started up.

Fortnite barely ran properly because Radeon Settings shoots up disk usage together with ms office's process.

  6. Radeon Settings still applies, even when it is disabled, it does not have to run nonstop.

Though I am using global settings, so maybe it is required, if you are using per game settings.

Any customization of driver and performance would be lost without it running.

I have got frame rate target control enabled and it is working without it. No idea, how to test other settings though.

I tried OCing and that didn't hold.

  10. I have got over-clocking done via ASUS GPU TweakII and it holds, even when that one is not running.
I guess settings are saved in the driver or elsewhere, I can not really say, I am not hardware expert.
