  1. Two questions, if I may...

    Hail all...

Before anything, a peek into my PC:
    I 5 6600K
    16 GB RAM
    1060 6gb GPU
    ASUS H170-Pro

1 x 200GB SSD Samsung Win System Disk
    3 x 3TB Green WD HDD General Storage/Game Drives
    CASE: Coolermaster Fractal Design
    ModXtreme-Pro 700W PSU
    5 x 120 Fans inwards
    2 x 120 Fans outwards
    Overclocking CPU: no
    Overclocking GPU: no
Temperature: Better than decent CPU and GPU, even under work load.

    ===>>> 1 Windows File Explorer:
Since Win XP, maybe even earlier, but I cannot remember for sure, I have issues with Windows File Explorer.
Whether it is a new installation I always to a clean installation, or a brand new computer system, my File Explorer is very unstable.
Now, I have atm 9 TB on HDD, used to be 12, but I lost a drive a while back.
But no matter new installation, new computer, or different windows version 10 now, my File explorer keeps crashing regularly.
This occurs especially after transferring a large amount of data.
What baffles me, is that the issues cross over from installation to installation, computer to computer.
I tried so many things, that I do not even know anymore what I or not have tried.
Does anyone have a possible idea of what this could be?

    ===>>> 2 UAC:
Since a long time Win 7, maybe earlier I have been requesting an option to edit "UAC restrictions", or, more correct, a way that allows my to stop that very annoying "Are you sure" nagging.
Each time I fire something up, there it is.
    Time and time again.
It is very frustrating, when you hit an icon, that Windows pops along: "Are you sure, mate? I mean, for the record, are you?"
Well, since I clicked the icon, I would presume that I am fairly sure?
And I think, I am not the only one.
Why not add for instance a "Do not nag" option under Icon Properties?
Or a menu command that says: YES, DAMMIT, I AM sure!"
Or something else, as long as it works, I am OK with whatever you put in there to get the nagger away...

    Thank you very much:
    Ben

    :)

New here and seeking for help: problems with graphic card

Thanks very much lilhasselhoffer. I'll start doing what you suggested step by step.

One question thou: you suggested me to Download the latest driver package from Nvidea. However, the link you posted is for the newly released GeForce GTX 760? Am I supposed to download the drivers for that card?

Sorry for my questions. As I said, I'm not an expert at all.

  3. Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are
    • Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
    • No Internet connection during the install
    • static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)

    Two questions, if I may...

Did our Epson printer get hacked?

Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.
