Windows 10: Two step verification code will not infill in box

Discus and support Two step verification code will not infill in box in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I receive two step verification code on cell phone just fine but when I try to enter the code on my PC the space remains blank and number won't enter...     Two step verification code will not infill in box


    I receive two step verification code on cell phone just fine but when I try to enter the code on my PC the space remains blank and number won't enter thus blocking me from accessing all accounts that require 2 step authorization. I tried typing number and "submit" even tho the code did not show up but did not work. I'm concerned there is a virus or is it possible some setting mysteriously re-set? This non acceptance of any numerical input even occurred when I tried to initiate a new password in Microsoft account. Microsoft requested I provide last four digits of my phone # to verify my ide

    I suggest you to turn off the two-step verification in the Microsoft account and check if it helps.

    Note: If two step verification is turned off, you will have to verify your identity with security codes periodically, when there might be a risk to your account security.
