Windows 10: Type C monitor will no longer work after windows 11 update

Today 3/12/23 I updated my Asus Tuf Dash 15 to the recent release of Windows 11, everything went fine and the update seemed to be going through. My computer said it was restarting and then it went black, with no display at all for a few minutes, I then unplugged my external monitor from the device where I was met with another black screen, I waited for over an hour before doing anything to it, after that and still no video on the internal monitor I helped the power button down until it turned off when I turned it back on it launched right into windows 11 and just figured I had a weird issue,

USB Type A ports not working after updating to Windows 11

Hi, since updating to Windows 11 (Dell Latitude 3410) my USB Type A ports have stopped working (Power and Data transfer). My Type-C port works fine. I've tried literally every single thing suggested on the forums and many other websites (You name it I've tried it) to no avail. Driver updates, reinstalling, Windows Update, sfc /scannow, DISM, resetting device, Running Dell SupportAssist to update all drivers, Running Intel Driver and Support Assistant etc. etc. No drivers are detecting any problems.

Please can anyone advise me on the next steps or more possible solutions.

 

USB-C Monitor no longer works with laptop

I've had an issue where my laptop has very recently stopped working with any monitors which are connected via a thunderbolt connection. I've tested the exact same setup with other laptops and the issue isn't replicated, I've also tested my laptop with other monitor and cable combinations and the exact same issue occurs - my laptop, for whatever reason, is no longer working with any monitors connected by thunderbolt cables. the usb-c port does work as devices such as xbox remote controllers can be connected via the same port and work fine.

This first occured about a week ago. Until then, my laptop has worked totally fine with usb-c connected monitors.

Since then, the following error message has been displayed in device manager:

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
A request for the USB device descriptor failed.

I've done a full factory reset, tried to reinstall and update drivers for the device, updated my bios drivers and updated my graphics drivers. Here's my laptop information:

Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-d0000 (2V8V3AV)

I'm using windows 11

Any help is appreciated

 

Dual monitors no longer working after downloading Windows 11.

I was able to go back to Windows 10 and both monitors are now working fine. May I suggest that this problem be reported to your programming team. I suspect it is a glitch in Windows 11 update. Thanks for you help.
