Windows 10: Typing for an app makes the system menu disappear.

This is a new problem that I did not see before. When I click on the windows Icon on the bottom left side of my desktop, the system menu pops up as expected, and I am able to scroll through an alphabetically listed series of apps I can choose to run. But if I try to seacrh for the application I want by typing the name of the application, the menu goes blank and there the menu seems to be trying to load options, but it seems to go on forever. Please advise.

My Windows 10 apps have disappeared and I cannot even open the start menu, I need help getting them back, any suggestions?

I, too, recently ran into the same problem. After a recent Windows update my computer would not load properly. I received error code 7x000021a and was forced to run system restore to fix the problem - after which all apps disappeared. Any thoughts from anyone on how to fix this problem?

Sorry to know that the issue persists. I suggest you to search for it in Search and pin it to Start Menu.

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• Go to search and type Photo Moto app. Right-click on it to pin it to Start menu.
• Go to Search. Type Settings. Click on it open.
• Click on System. Click on Default apps. Then follow the instructions from the link below to set Photo Moto as default app for Photos.
