Windows 10: Typing, stops and blue circle appears

I worry about downloading ..I have already picked up a couple of leeches that seem impossible to peel off. One sort of Driver updates, and another whatever, continually asking me to upgrade.

Oh? Adware or a legit update for your system? What do the state they are for?

 

Slimcleaner plus is one and another is "Driver update available " unsure where that update is from..other than there is a large i .
I have little faith in receiving ads that an Update is available "do I wish to download." .as in the past I found Ive downloaded something I don't want or need.
I'm nor sure "Ignorance is bliss"

 

Slimcleaner plus is crapware that probably came with the system. I wouldn't use it and would uninstall it myself.

The driver update seems to be legit. I'd click on it and see what it's for.

How's your original problem? Any success?

 

old problem ...well it hasn't reoccurred ..and I don't know why, but so far the spin ing blue doughnut hasn't been back.

I currently have the same problem; only more severe. I type in Outlook, this forum, Word documents, virtually everywhere and the letters do not appear, the cursor disappears, the error bell rings and I need to use the touchpad to reset. I have attempted many of the suggested fixes. Nothing I tried has helped. I did a clean boot and tried to analyze the task manager system information to no avail.
The task manager disk percent was peaking in the mid-nineties. Is that a problem?
And, I could not paste my system configuration here for some reason. What other information is needed?
