  1. UAC app permission popup stays in my taskbar

I don't remember the last time it showed up asking if I want to give permission to an app without me having to click the icon on my taskbar first. For instance, every time I go to install an nvidia driver, it doesn't even begin until I remember to click the UAC shield icon that appeared in my taskbar. Why is it starting in the background and staying in the background? then when I click on it, it blackens the rest of my screen and asks like it was supposed to do without me having to click the icon in my taskbar, that shouldn't even be a thing. I am pretty sure this is because I agreed to take t

    Windows 10 UAC problems

    Hi,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

I suggest you to disable the UAC-(Select the bar as shown in the below screen shot) and check with the issue. To open User account control settings, follow the steps:

    • Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
    • Type User account control settings.

    ThrottleStop 8.60 Stays in Taskbar

    Hello!

I have an issue with ThrottleStop 8.60 (And 8.50U) staying in the taskbar when minimizing and not going to the notification area. The notification icon is there but it is always in the taskbar too. If I check 'Minimize on Close it still stays in the taskbar. Is this a bug or does anyone know how to get it off my taskbar and only in the notification bar?

    Thanks!!!

  4. UAC app permission popup stays in my taskbar

Grant a specific application permanent UAC permission

    Hello jaksps,

In line with your concern, User Account Control doesn't have a "allowed-or-blocked" list and disabling the User Account Control involves security risks. Though, there is a workaround to run a program without UAC prompt using Task Scheduler. I'd recommend
performing the steps suggested by SpiritX MS MVP in this
    thread
    .

    Looking forward to your response.

    Regards.
