    UAC showing up off the primary monitor. How do I insure the UAC will be on the primary monitor?


    Hello,When I start a program requiring elevated privileges e.g., administration mode, nine times out of ten, the UAC User Access Control dialog/popup will show up off my primary monitor. This presents multiple issues, whether I'm connected directly or remotely.How do I get the UAC dialog/popup to always display on the primary monitor?Thank you.

    Taskbar hidden on primary monitor but showing on second monitor, despite settings marked show on both monitors

    As title suggests, my taskbar/start menu is hidden on my primary monitor but is showing on my second monitor.

    I can see it on my primary monitor by maybe a height of a few pixels. I can move the taskbar to the right and left and top and it is visible there but not on the bottom.

    Please help!

    Hello,

    I have a three monitor / screen system and when I start various programs the UAC prompt is alway in the middle of the middle monitor. Monitor 3 (from a physical perspective) is where I have the desktop (primary). As I understand the UAC prompt is suppose
    to beside the mouse pointer, when you start a program requiring permission to access administration mode. Yet, after Creator Update, the UAC moved to the middle of the middle monitor.

    I can reproduce the problem 100% of the time with a Command Prompt short cut on the primary monitor / screen.

    My question is how do I get the UAC prompt to be as it was: positioned beside the mouse pointed OR at least on the same monitor / screen as the mouse?

    Oh, my system: Windows 10 Professional x64. It was a clean install from a Microsoft Windows 10 Pro x64 USB and without any manufacturer supplied drivers (as there was no OS on the system). I purchased the system without any OS.

    Not all programs requiring the UAC prompt cause it to go to the middle of the middle monitor, but some do.

    100% of the time starting a Command Prompt (admin set on in the properties) from a short cut on the primary causes this problem.
