Windows 10: Ubuntu 20.04 Command Line

Discus and support Ubuntu 20.04 Command Line in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; So, I have the Ubuntu command line installed in Windows 10.     Ubuntu 20.04 Command Line


    So, I have the Ubuntu command line installed in Windows 10. Is there a way to update the dependencies for Ubuntu or is this not a full blown command line shell for Windows?

    I ask because I tried to install neofetch just to see what it looks like under Windows/Ubuntu. Is this even possible? I mean, neofetch really isn't anything at all. Just some text information about the system.

    I tried sudo apt upgrade but there are no updates for this. Whenever I try to install neofetch, I get a Unable to locate package neofetch error.

    FYI, I'm running Windows 10 in a VM under a Linux based host. I haven't touched Windows for about 2 years now since switching to Linux. I figured I'd see what all the hubub was about with Ubuntu in Windows 10.
