Windows 10: UE Boom 2 to not appearing as a possible audio output since bluetooth or sound card update...

Hi !I recently did an update pass on all of my outdated drivers and since then, I cannot use my bluetooth speaker UE Boom 2 as an audio output. Before the updates, I had 2 possible outputs related to this speaker, the stereo output and the handfree output. Since the update, only the handfree solution remain.I have no issue regarding the connection of the bluetooth speaker to my laptop. I tried to deactivate the handfree property to see if the stereo would come back but it only results in this speaker having 0 possible audio output. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the divice multiple time.

Thank you again for your quick reply, unfortunately, this was not helpful. Perhaps I need to give you more information.

• I am not a computer novice by any means.
• After the last major Win 10 update, I had to reinstall everything NVIDIA as it vanished from my computer.
• I found many of my Bluetooth audio devices no longer worked. After removing the devices and re-adding them, this seemed to fix the problem; all but the UE Boom. I updated the firmware on the device and this did not fix the problem.
• In trying to follow your instructions, the UE Boom was not listed in any of the drop-downs in Device Manager, probably as I had removed the device from the Bluetooth list in Settings.
• I have no problem pairing the UE Boom with any of my other devices (and I have a few).
• This issue only appeared right after the last Win 10 update.
• I do not seem to have any out of date drivers currently on my computer.

Cannot connect UE Boom to laptop since the last Win 10 update.

Cannot connect UE Boom to my laptop since the last Win 10 update. Never had a problem before. Tried all the fixes listed for bluetooth in this community with
no success. I have never had a problem connecting this device or others until the last update a week or so ago. The update screwed up my NVIDIA drivers as well, but I sorted that out. I use the UE Boom for decent portable sound from my
laptop and would love to sort this out. Thanks.

 

Lumia 435 W8.1 or W10 not connecting to UE Boom

I have a UE Boom speaker running the latest firmware that connects effortlessly to many other devices(Macs, iPhones, etc) but I am having trouble connecting it with my Lumia 435 running Windows 10 preview build 10586. At first the
Lumia was running Windows 8.1 Denim and it just could not see the UE Boom. I decided to reset the Boom and upgrade it's firmware. Nothing worked. I then upgraded the phone to the latest Windows 10 preview and still nothing. The Boom just won't appear in the
Bluetooth discoverables list. Other devices(Macs, PCs, iPhones, Tiles, etc) are seen just fine by the Lumia. And my other devices see the Boom as well. Am I missing something or are these devices just not compatible? Any help is appreciated.
