Windows 10: UEFI Bios always PXE boots from network and not hard drive

I am using a network PXE boot to install the Windows OS.I configured Bios for UEFII set the boot order with the hard drive first and NIC 2ndAfter doing the network PXE boot and applying the image the boot order changes.The Nic is now number one and the hard drive is number two.This causes the system to go into a loop and keep PXE booting from the network.If I go into the bios and manually change the boot order the system boots from the hard as it should.Is there a way to set the bios or configure the BDC file so that the system boots from the hard drive and not the Nic after the image is appli

UEFI Boot Order: OS Installation through PXE

I have query regarding UEFI boot order change after OS installation. I want to know whether the result is expected or not.

I am trying to install OS through PXE by following the below procedure:

1. In BIOS setup page, changed the UEFI boot order and set the network boot as first boot option.

2. After saving the settings and reboot, booted to PXE as it is set as first boot option.

3. Installed windows 10 OS through PXE.

4. After successful installation and rebooted from windows, the boot order changed automatically and set the first boot option as windows boot manager.

I want to know whether Windows 10 installation changes the UEFI boot order and is this the expected behavior?

if you are getting a PXE boot error, your PC is trying to boot from a network drive . . .

Start your Dell, repeatedly press F2 on the Dell logo to gt into BIOS

On the Boot tab in BIOS, move your hard drive to the top of the boot order list

Save BIOS settings (F10) and restart your PC

 

Wiped Hard Drive Can't Boot Vista

I did try every possible boot order and even with deactivated options, which I don't even know how or if that is helpful. I will try the Vista possibilities. The OS was listed in the BIOS, whatever that means, and it said it was a factory version, which I think is a good thing.

The PXE error messages may have occurred when I activated the network adapter and tried that in the boot order. Obviously, I am in way over my head. Thanks for the suggestions!
