Windows 10: Ultimate Word Games locks up.

    Ultimate Word Games locks up.


    It started happening a couple of months ago. I play Wordament. Sometimes when I press the button to start a new game it would wait for a few seconds before responding. Then once the game started it was unresponsive for about 8 seconds. This was no big deal, but when I tried to run crossword the lockups were more frequent. For example, I would tap a letter on the on screen keyboard and have to wait 8 seconds before it appeared on the crossword puzzle. It's almost unplayable.


    Surface Pro 5th gen.

    Microsoft Ultimate Word Games will not load. I have tried ALL recommended solutions listed to no avail.
