I have w7 folders but Im on w10?

Hello! I can see you are experiencing troubles with the old Windows folder! You see, whether or not you upgraded or bought a retailer copy there
was an existing operating system before you installed Windows 10. The Windows.old folder is there in case you wanted to downgrade back to Windows 7 in case you didn't like Windows 10. This folder is automatically
deleted in, I believe, 60 days but if you want to delete it now, then follow these steps:

Go to your start menu > Type: "Disk" and click "Disk Cleanup" > If it prompts you on which drive to clean, select the "C:" drive and click OK. If it did not prompt you (Most likely) it will scan your system. > When it is done, click the link "Clean up system
files" and follow the previous steps again. When it shows the list again, find the check-box that has something to do with old windows installations. When you find it/them, click OK and let it clean up. If the Windows.old file is there, please follow up on
this post.

My laptop says im not connected to the internet but im connected to the internet

I have recently formatted my laptop since my files where messed up and it doesn't boot up correctly.But after the format im still connected to the internet but it says im not connected.Also I cant see any of my networks.

 

Japanese IME - How to have menus in English?

The default display language for the Microsoft IME is "Automatic", and occasionally it decides for whatever reason to change from English to Japanese or vice versa.
At any rate, you can correct the issue without removing any language packs via the following steps. I'm going to assume that your Windows display language is in English, but your IME is set to display in Japanese.

1. Navigate thus: Control Panel -> Region & Language -> Keyboards &
   Languages -> Change Keyboards
   
2. Highlight "Microsoft IME" under the Japanese (Japan) keyboard section of the "Installed services" list
   
3. Select "Properties"
   
4. Under the ""全股" tab, you will see an option at the bottom "メニューおよびダイアログで使用する言語" which is the IME display language option. Change this to "英語" (English) and save your changes (the buttons are in the same order as they are in the English UI, "Okay", "Cancel", "Apply", and "Help".
   

The next time you reopen the IME in the language bar, it should display in English.
