Windows 10: UMMM.. no 4k movies on windows PC?

So, I just built a theater PC and I downloaded 1TB of my "purchased" movies to my HDD in case of outages and flash forward to this week. I started up my 4k OLED LG tv and my computer only to be greeted by what I describe as a **** picture quality. There should be ZERO reason why I can't play my legally purchased movies content in the 21st century. for gods' sake. it's a Windows OS that is downloading movies that use windows OS on the internet which caters to you guessed it Windows OS. Quit forcing people to use that crappy console. My question is.. when I can expect to download and watch my mo

Does Miracast support 4K?

We suggest that you check with the manufacturer of the 4k display device that you are using if it is certified to work with Miracast. If your display device is certified to work with Miracast, then check if your PC device supports Miracast. You may do so
by following the steps below:

• Click Start, then go to Settings >
  Projecting to this PC.

Does Films and TV Stream 4K on Windows 10 PC?

I have Windows 10 connected to a OLED 65" 4K TV. Windows is running at 4k resolution. I bought a movie in UHD format but the description of the movie says you need an Xbox One S or X. Will 4K also stream and display in 4K resolution in Windows 10
on a PC connected to a 4K display or is it only 1080p with upscaling? I can't find any shortcuts or settings to display the bitrate/resolution the video is playing at.
