  1. Unable to access 1TB External fat32 drive in Windows 10

I am unable to access my external drive in Windows 10. I am able to use it fine on an old Vista laptop. When I plug it in to the Win10 machine it recognizes the drive and assigns it a drive letter but shows no more information on the drive "IE: drive size, properties, files, ect." and hangs. It also hangs on the boot screen if the drive is plugged in "it's already passed BIOS at this point". The drive is full of data so I really do not want to reformat it. You need to format it to FAT32... why?

I suggest exFAT - more universal with more features ... Natively supported, etc.

However, if you just have to - there are plenty of utilities that get around the format limitations built into Windows for FAT32. Like: 2022 Best FAT32 Format Tool Free Download for Windows 10/8.1/8/7/XP/Vista - EaseUS

Without a compelling argument, however, exFAT is still likely the better option for you.
