Windows 10: Unable to access computer with pin.

Hello,I'm trying to install an ssd into my Acer nitro 5 and the version is AN515-54. The ssd ended up blue screening my laptop and restarting staying on the acer logo. I went in Bios to see if I can fix it by looking up tutorials on how to fix it but never got it to work. I removed the ssd and tried to get on my laptop only for it to say pin is unavailable because of security settings. I need this lap top to complete my projects and I've tried hard on looking up on how to fix it and theres nothing in the internet that can help me.My ex gave me this lap top and only gave me the password pin and

Unable to Access Windows - PIN and Fingerprint Issues

Hello,

I am experiencing issues accessing my Windows account due to problems with the PIN and fingerprint login. Here are the steps I followed and the issues encountered:

1. I entered an incorrect PIN several times.
   
2. I decided to change the PIN. I successfully logged into my account. and attempted to change the PIN, but an error occurred during the process.
   
3. Now, I am unable to log in using the PIN, and it is blocked for 2 hours.
   
4. I am offered the option to use fingerprint authentication, but it does not work.
   
5. I am not given the option to log in using my password or account credentials, even though I logged in with them when attempting to change the PIN.
   

How can I regain access to Windows?

Provide us additional information to assist you better with accessing the PIN on your device:

• 
  What is the complete error code/ error message while trying to access the PIN?
  
• 
  Where you able to see any other log-in password option on the lock screen?
  

I suggest you to try using the password on your lock screen and check if it helps. Also, try to access the user profile from the web browser on different computer and check if user credentials matches.

If the issue persists on the web browser: I suggest you to refer to the below link about: Why can't
you sign in? and try to reset the password. Try the new password on the computer and check if it helps.

If not this might be an issues on the computer, try the troubleshooting steps suggested by
Wasim Asad on August 18, 2015 and check if it resolves your issue.

When trying to sign into Windows 10
for the first time, I get the error “That password is incorrect.”

Remove items from Quick access.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

• Right click on the file or folder.
• Select the option “unpin from the quick access”

To pin items to an item already on the quick access bar.

Follow the below steps.

I would suggest you to create folder in the desktop screen & place all the files or folder which need to pin to the quick access.

• Open the quick access.
• Select the Desktop option.
• Right click on the folder & select the option “pin to quick access”
