Windows 10: Unable to access internet through WiFi from laptop.

Hi friends,


I'm facing some issue while trying to connect to my home broadband network through WiFi from my laptop. The connectivity works fine when I connect my smartphone to the same WiFi but I'm unable to access internet through WiFi. When I connect to the network the WiFi panel shows "Connected, Secured". I tried connecting my smartphone to WiFi and turning on my smartphone's WiFi hotspot and connecting to the latter, it works fine. What could be the issue? Is it the issue with my WiFi adapter or my router? Expecting your help as answers.

Hi,
Nokia lumia 520 able to search and connect to wifi network but unable to access internet on my phone while all the other devices connected with wifi have access to internet.
sometime i get access to the internet when restarting my phone but most of the time no.
Please help.

 

Laptops cannot access desktops via WIFI

I have 3 desktops (all on Windows 10 1803) connected on my LAN. After following this forum for some times and did all the steps as suggested by forum member, access denied, all my desktops are able to view and access one another. I have a printer connected to PC1, and managed to connect all the other 2 PCs to have the shared printer.

I also have 2 more laptops (both Asus with the same Windows 10 1803) connected via WIFI. Performed all the same steps as per the desktops, but I was not able to access PC1. I was able to view all the 3 desktops from the file explorer, but I just can't access all the desktops. However, I was able to access the Asus laptops from desktop PC1.

Anyone able to assist on this matter? Any assistance is highly appreciated.

Appreciate your interest in using Windows 10. I understand the frustration to wait for something and it is taking a long time.

I would suggest you to perform an Internet troubleshooter by following the steps below.

• Click on start and type ‘troubleshooting’ and press enter.
• Click on ‘View all’ on top left corner.
• Select ‘Internet Connections’ in the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.

Also, check if the issue persists by connecting to a different network.
