Windows 10: Unable to access internet when installing Windows 11 from scratch using Wifi dongle

I have a desktop computer with a wiped SSD no system on it. I installed Windows 11 by putting it on a USB drive and booted on the new PC. At some point the PC went idle with a black screen so I had to press the power button once to restart it manually not a long press, just simple press, but it seems to have gone ok.Now the Windows 11 onboarding screen shows up, but quickly asks to connect to the internet. This PC does not have a Wifi card. So I ordered a dongle TP-Link AC1300 Nano Wireless MU-MIMO USB 2.0 Adapter, and plugged it in. It blinks green and I can select my router in the onbo

Dongle is working properly but showing no internet

Just to clarify, are you using a WiFi dongle to connect to the internet instead of the built in WiFi adapter of your device? Or are you using a desktop PC and is the WiFi dongle to connect to the internet? For now, what we can suggest is to follow all of
the recommended troubleshooting steps on this article to resolve the issue. Be sure to click

No Internet Access over WiFi when pairing up with WiFi Dongle

I understand that on your Lumia phone when you are pairing up with WiFi Dongle, it shows "No Internet Access on this network". I will try to help you with this issue.

I would suggest you to try the Soft Reset on the phone
to check the status. You need to
hold down the Power button and the
Volume button simultaneously for 15 seconds or until the phone vibrates and restarts. Once this is done check the issue status.

Wired to wireless internet using dongles

Somewhere our phones do not have any data plan . That place has a desktop with internet connection . No wifi card builtin and since*It is an ALL in one computer we cannot install pci* wifi card. We can only have wifi adapter or dongles on a usb port.

How safe is to create a hotspot using a dongle . If i use vpn over wifi to connect to the company's network , is there any chance of vulnerability ?*

Also , keep in mind the wired internet is LAN based and the company is reluctant a bit that using dongle will expose the network to sniffers.

Can they hack through the adhoc network created by the dongle into my our LAN* ?*

Please provide suggestions.
