Windows 10: Unable to access Microsoft Account After Security Info Update

Hello, I'm experiencing issues accessing my Microsoft account email: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. On June 11, 2024, I requested to update my security info with a new email address. According to the confirmation email, this change was supposed to take effect on June 12, 2024. However, it's now November 9, 2024, and I still can’t access my account.I have already tried several steps, such as verifying the new email, attempting to log in on different devices, and clearing cache and cookies, but the issue persists.Does anyone know what else I can do to resolve this problem? Is there an alternativ

I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to log-in Live.com/ Outlook.com from the Microsoft account you are facing issue with.

Try to edit your personal information from the browser and check if the issue persists.

If the issue still persists,

Step 2: I suggest you to log-in to your user account from different browser on different browser, try to edit your personal information and check if the issue persists.

Step 3: If the issue still persists, I suggest you to run Microsoft account troubleshooter.

Generally, you can toggle the login option at the Windows login screen to log in to Windows with your account password.

Regarding the 30-day waiting period, this is normal. This is designed for security reasons to protect your account. Visit “Your security info change is still pending” or “You can’t access this site right now” Microsoft account message - Microsoft Support for more details.

1. Press and hold the Shift key on the login screen, then restart.
2. After restarts to the "Choose an option" screen, select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > Select "Command Prompt", then log in with your account, and run the commands below.
