Unable to access NAS (WD Mycloud)

I recently acquired and installed a WD Mycloud for the purpose of backing up all my computers, including my company's notebook. I cannot get the company notebook (Win 10 Enterprise) to see the Mycloud device. It does see all the other devices on my home network. All my other Win 10 and Win 7 machines have no problem using the Mycloud.
    Things I have tried:

None of this works. Now, I have at time seen the Mycloud on the network, which seemed to be related to enabling sharing and network discovery. However, even when I could see it, I still couldn't access it.

    Any other ideas?

    :)

Unable to connect to WD MyCloud NAS with recent Windows 10 updates

HI - Need help reconnecting to WD MyCloud NAS after recent Windows 10 updates.

After a recent update, I have not been able to connect from my Windows 10 laptop to my WD MyCloud NAS. I had no issue prior to update and haven't changed any other network settings prior to having problems.

I've searched all the other topics and tried all the recommended solutions and nothing has worked:

    - revert to previous windows update

    - resetting all network adapters

    - release/renew ipconfig etc

    - remove firewall

    - allowinsecure dword registry

    - change Max SMB protocol

I'm able to access files (via app) as well as WD MyCloud settings (via IP address) from Android tablet.

When I try ip address from Chrome I get error: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

It's no longer visible in file explorer network

    Running Windows 10 Home - version 1709 - Build 16299.192

WD MyCloud Version 2.30.172 (current 11/17/17)

    Thanks for your help.

WD myCloud access can't be found for the device can't access WDMyCloud from WD desktop for windows

Hello! Can anyone tell me how to access my WD MyCloud from the WD desktop app? It was working fine and I connected a USB external drive to the MyCloud to create a safepoint and after I connected the usb drive to the WD I can't access my media from the
desktop app anymore. Can anyone tell me how to configure the cloud access from the WD desktop app again?? It won't take my password, I've tried changing it and still no good. Please help! Thanks, Moturbo.

Accessing NAS (WD MyCloud) not possible from Windows 10 Explorer

I have searched for this question but all posts were not answering the question. But I'd like to have another try.

Connecting from Windows to a WD MyCloud NAS drive didn't work any more after Windows 10 upgrade. It seems to have something to do with the explorer.

    1) Case 1: A network drive on the NAS is password protected (username password on the MyCloud)

    - Using the "old" net use functionality allows to connect to the drive and then it will show-up in Explorer.

    - Trying the same from explorer, it ends up in asking for username and password. Although username and password were entered correctly, it does not connect.

    2) Case 2: Another network drive on the NAS is set to "public" and neither a username nor a password is required to connect.

A connection from Windows 10 is then not possible. Net use as well as Explorer asks for usernames. Leaving it blank is not accepted by Windows 10 and the connection fails. Maybe there is a security option somewhere, that prevent connections to public, unsecured
    network drives?

In the past with previous Windows versions (Windows 7, Windows 10 before some updates), it worked correctly and connecting to the NAS worked fine. Has anyone solved that problem?

    Best regards,

    Lars.
