Windows 10: Unable to access Pc windows 10- password incorrect

Can't log into PC. Windows 10Changed password on Microsoft website via phone and also via "I forgot password" on pc log in screen.Both changed successfully, but when trying to log into computer, says password is incorrect.Tried activating hidden administrator account, but doesn't show.Tried logging in to account on different internet connection.Confirmed computer is showing as a device under my account.Accessed recovery environment and was able to access command prompt using old password for Google account.Tried using that password on log in screen but not successful. I'm running out of ideas

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Incorrect Password With Networked Computers

At work we have a PC that hosts all of the files everyone uses in the office. It used to have XP on it, as most of the PCs in the office do, but I put Windows 7 on it this time. Now I'm having a slight issue where everytime the XP computers log on, the first time they try and access the network drive they all get a window that says "Connect to \\Server\Data Files", then the actual message says "Incorrect password or unknown username for: \\Server\Data Files.

There is a place to type a username, which has NX02\Server at the moment, and if I type the correct password, it works and they can connect until they restart again. NX02 is the PC I'm on trying to connect to the Server.

I have a Windows 7 PC in the office I use and it doesn't have this problem. How can I resolve this? My coworkers think it's annoying.

 

used msconfig to access safe mode now password is incorrect

Hello,

Here's my issue. Used msconfig to access safe mode brings up enter password and of course the password is incorrect and now cant get access to laptop.

So I went on another PC to my yahoo acct and changed the password went back to laptop an input new password with zero luck. any suggestions??? Running Windows 10.
