Windows 10: Unable to Access 'Virus & Threat Protection' in Windows Security App - IT Administrator...

When I'm trying to access my "Virus & threat protection", I can't get through it. In the windows and security app a tab appears saying, "Page not available on the above and under Your IT administrator has limited access to some areas of this app, and the item you tried to access is not available. Contact IT helpdesk for more information." So, what do I do? How to access to it? Please let me know.

As an alternative approach, you can allow that utility through the Controlled Folder Access section of WIndows 10 security . . .

Open Windows Defender Security Center

Go to Virus & threat protection - Virus & threat protection settings

Scroll down to Controlled folder access

From there, you can add Dell Data Vault to the list of safe or allowed apps to prevent it from being blocked

Please do not leave Controlled Folder Access turned off permanently

 

Windows Security App were the Virus and Threat Protection are missing

After updating my windows OS 11 with the latest windows update, there has seem to be no improvement to the Windows Security App were the Virus and Threat Protection are missing. Which also means that my Real Time Protection setting is also missing. Therefore, every time I try to search the Virus and Threat Protection, a dialog box pops up saying the IT administrator has limited access to some areas of this app. So how do I fix this?

Hi Microsoft Team,

I am unable to access Virus & threat protection in Windows Security, it will prompt the error message "Page not available" and "Your IT administrator has limited access to some areas of this app, and the item you tried to access is not available. Contact IT helpdesk for more information."

I tried many ways to fix it based on what I found from Google and YouTube but it ended up failing to resolve it.

Do you have any clue about it?
