    Hi All, I have a query about Windows RDS server. We have a RDS server setup and published an internal Java app over quick session publish and trying to access it via RDWeb. We have enabled 443 and 3389 ports for the servers that would need access to the RDP. It works for most of our clients, but now We are seeing issue with one, where they are unable to access RDP, they can access the RDWeb page, enter the credentials and it gives a warning - The remote computer could not be found. Please contact your helpdesk about this error. I am not sure if it's network, firewall or the proxy stopping it.

    windows 10 loosing local network access

    Hi,

    Well, frequently, I'm unable to access folders on my laptop (or desktop from laptop).
    Then I run network troubleshooting and windows says me the same thing again: one or more network protocols are not installed and necessary for connectivity. Then I accept the correction and I can access my network until the next time it will fail and will say me the same thing. One day, perhaps 3 if I am lucky.
    IT'S MASSIVELY BORING !! *Smile Unable to access Windows RDP via corporate network :)

    Any clue ?

    Hi Pravin,

    Network permission is one of the possible reasons why you can't access a drive within a network. To better assist you, we the answers to the following questions:

    • Are you working with computers connected to a domain?
    • Did you make any changes on your computer prior to the issue?

    In the meantime, we suggest following the steps below to troubleshoot Shared Folders in Windows 10:

    • On the Cortana search box, type Troubleshoot
      and select the first result.
    • Scroll down and click on Shared Folders.
    • Click the Run the troubleshooter button.

    Unable to launch applications in RDP session

    Issue: User is unable to launch applications when connected to a device through RDP

    To clarify:

    RDP connection itself is successful. User is can access device. But when user clicks an application, it does not launch.

    User IS able to launch applications when signed into destination device directly.

    Other users are not encountering issues opening applications when connected via RDP on the same devices.

    Issue seems to occur only on this users specific profile.

    Any suggestions?
