Windows 10: unable to activate my 365 family plan on a new computer

We have 365 family plan and have purchased a new computer and we are unable to activate the program on the new computer. It just comes up with the trial or purchase screen.

Activation 365 and safe mode

I have a family Office subscription.

My daughters computer was sent away to be fixed twice now and each time hard drive needed to be replaced. Since the last time I am unable to get it off S mode and it says that it is unable to reach Windows activation.

That the product key is no longer valid.

My issue is it's an automatic renewal and we don't get a new product key so I cant enter it.

I've tried removing her from family and re adding and then reinstalling 365 on her computer but same issue.

How can I fix this?

 

Family activity report

Hi Javier,

There are ways on how to manage activity reporting for your child. To configure your account settings, here are the steps:

• Go to the account.microsoft.com/family site at Microsoft on any PC
• Then sign-in
• Open Settings
  
• Tap on the Accounts icon
• Click on Family and other users on the left side
• Chose Manage family settings online
• Check recent activity link for the child's account

Turn On and Manage Activity Reporting for Child

• Click on Recent activity on the left side, and turn on Activity reporting.
• Check or uncheck to Email weekly reports to me for what you want.
• Under Web browsing, Apps and games etc., you can view your child's recent activity for each one, tap on Change settings
  
• Then set allowed times to manage them, and to block any apps and games.

To Turn Off Activity Reporting for your Child, just tap on Recent activity on the left side, and turn off Activity reporting on the right side.

Get back to us if the steps won't work.

 

Office 365 activation error after big Win 10 update

We appreciate your response, Keith. We suggest that you update Office 365 and see if it'll make a difference. You can simply do it by opening any Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Here are the steps on how to do so:

• Open Office app, then click on File.
• Look for Account, then click on Update.
• Once done, restart your computer.
