Windows 10: Unable to Activate valid Windows 10 Pro license

A few weeks ago I was given a broken laptop to repair, Sadly the motherboard was fried so I resorted to buying a replacement motherboard. the seller flashed the BIOS wrong and it wiped the License Key stored within and also reset the serial etc of the laptop to ABCD12345, I managed to lock the BIOS again as it was stuck in manufacturing mode.


Knowing this was going to be an issue I bought a valid Windows 10 Pro System Builder license card that comes in the boxsets (The purple one), I use these as I often fix computers for family/friends and I am covered under the System Builder terms.


Upon adding the license key in a fresh Windows 10 Pro 1909 installtion it denied activation with error codes 0xc004c003 & 0x803fa067 so I tried SLUI 4 over the phone and was told this key was already used yet it's brand new, and offical as I made sure before buying. I don't buy those £3 pirated licenses and bought a valid license I can hold in hand.


The rep on the phone was unhelpful blaming the seller which I felt is wrong as I know the license is valid and real.


I'm lost what to do, The seller done nothing wrong here, This is like the 9th license over the years that I've bought on official media or came with a computer that I've been told is invalid/not geniune. I'm extremely frustrated by this and would like this resolved please so I can use my computer properly.


Windows 10 has been the biggest pain in the backside I've ever had in the 18+ years I've been working on computers, If only Windows 7 was still viable. I guess Linux is next if this can't be resolved?

Do you have the 25 Digit product key?

I bought through microsoft store so it comes with digital license.

What happens when you try to activate Windows?

"Unable to activate windows". This error I've received.

I had call them yesterday and they told me I can't use the digital license again because it is valid only for one installation.

This was my case id: 1487040589

unable to validate license-15

Hello,

I started using Nokia maps and i received the following error when trying to buy navigation maps:

unable to validate license-15

This was shown after the list of maps where retrieved, after the Update yes/no screen. Also in some cases after this step the application closes completely.

Did someone have this problems ?

I'm using a Nokia E50.
