Windows 10: Unable to Activate Windows 10 0xC004008

I ran into a problem with Windows 10 installation today. You see, I can't activate my copy of Windows 10 because of 0xC004008. And when I type "slmg -dli" the notification code produces a 0x0c004F043 notification. I tried using the slui 4 method but the automated support technician tells me that I've installed Windows 10 on too many PCs at once. Which isn't quite true. I've only used it on one PC at a time. Though there were times I waited a minute or two before unlinking the old PC. And there was one or two times I reinstalled Windows on the same PC.

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Since you mentioned that you've already installed Windows 10 on a different hard drive, this is the reason why you received the activation error
0xC004C008. We suggest following the steps

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
