I have been contacting Microsoft technical support for 5 days trying to receive help on activating windows 10 pro. I have the error code 0xC004C060. I sit on hold for 1-2 hours a day and then the person on the other end hangs up on me after I describe them my problem. I just purchased windows 10 pro from microcenter this past Saturday to put on a computer that I just built. Windows 10 pro is not activating for some reason. I have the receipt, flashdrive, box, and code but it still doesn't work. The Physical code claims it is a RETAIL version but when I go to activate it, it claims that it is O

Cannot activate Win10 Pro after Microsoft Store app purchase

Hello guys,

My laptop came pre-installed with Win10 Home 64bit and I recently purchased a Win 10/11 Pro licence from the Microsoft Store app. Unfortunately, having some issues activating the digital licence for Win10 Pro.

Here is the situation:

• Logged into Microsoft account used for the purchase (also received the email receipt of the purchase)
• Already connected to stable internet

What I tried so far:

Entering the Win10 Pro generic key:



Received error 0x800700005:





Clicking Close returned another error 0xC004F034:





Clicking Troubleshoot re-activated my Win10 Home so still not on Pro.

Can't upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Pro

I suggest you to download and create an installation media for Windows 10 Pro form the link provided below:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows10

After the installation media is created, suggest you to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro from the installation media. When the upgrade asks for product key, enter the product key purchased for Windows 10 Pro. If it does not accept, suggest you to skip the activation
step. After the Operating System is installed, suggest you to activate by phone by following the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + R” and type “slui 4” and press Enter.
• Select the Region from the list and click Next.
• Call the Toll-Free number provided on top and can activate via phone.

Purchased windows 10 pro upgrade from home edition in the microsoft store, but unable to activate

I purchased a digital upgrade to windows 10 pro, I previously had windows 10 home. Now I have an un-activated windows 10 enterprise, and am unable to activate windows 10 pro with the activation troubleshooter. Error code 0x803F7001.
