Windows 10: unable to activate windows 10

Hello guys

I have a laptop where I've been using windows 10, but then I moved my whole disk drive to new ssd and started using desktop with powerful pcie card to be albe to play games.

But I am unable to move my license to desktop pc.

Yes, my license is a retail one. I've tried to remove license using special command through powershell (being signed in as admin). My desktop pc is in a list of devices in my microsoft account. I've removed old device - laptop and now there's only one device and I want to activate license there. What could you suggest ?

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
